Card payments into trust
Clients pay legal costs and disbursements in advance by card, into the trust account's own Stripe account. Stripe pays out daily to the trust account at the full amount; EmuTel pays Stripe's fees and bills the firm from office. A payment isn't trust money in the books until it lands: then it becomes a receipt, dated that day. Nothing ever leaves trust through Stripe.
